YEREVAN, July 15./ARKA/. The portion of idle and written- off assets of Armenia’s residents inched up by 0.38 p.p. in May from April to 5.69%, the Central Bank said Monday.
Commerce accounted for the highest number of idle assets –nearly 1.33% (against 1.29% in April); consumer loans accounted for 0.95% (0.91% in April); construction –for about 0.69% (0.67%).
At the same time, processing industry accounted for 0.71%, agricultural sphere –0.41%, mortgage lending -0.46%, catering –0.30%. There are no idle assets in financial sphere.
