YEREVAN, August 26. /ARKA/. Securities portfolio of Armenian banks totaled AMD 376bln in the first half of 2022, executive director of the Union of Armenian Banks (UBA) Seyran Sargsyan said at a press conference on Friday.

According to him, the figure was down 16% or AMD 70bln. It dropped by 15% or AMD 66bln when compared to the end of March this year.

Sargsyan also said that the banks’ investment in securities totaled 1.3 trillion drams at the end of the first half of this year.

This index rose by about 82 billion drams or 6.7% in the first half of the year, and by 30 billion drams or 2.3% compared to the end of March this year. ($1 - 404.82 drams) -0-
