YEREVAN, May 31. /ARKA/. Yerevan Mayor's Office in cooperation with the World Bank is implementing a project designed to digitalize the capital city with the aim of improving the accessibility and quality of services, provided to the citizens.
This issue was discussed at a meeting today of Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan with the World Bank representatives.
According to Avinyan, the main goal is the full digitalization of the services rendered to Yerevan citizens, including the issuance of building permits and the establishment of a hotline feedback.
The idea of creating a single platform of services provided by the mayor's office, which should be accessible through a website and mobile application, is being discussed.
"We hope that in the near future we will see practical progress and with the support of the WB we will be able to implement this important project," Avinyan was quoted as saying by the City Hall press service.
In turn, World Bank representatives Khuram Farooq and Arman Vatyan expressed their readiness to support this project as much as possible, expecting the Yerevan authorities to specify the list of priority services.
The parties also touched upon the prospects for implementing other joint projects and agreed to hold more substantive discussions in the near future. --0—
