YEREVAN, Oct. 10. /ARKA/. The technology developed by Armenian startup Revalcon simplifies the entire irrigation process, which is controlled both through mobile and web applications, Acba bank's press service reported.

The system is controlled remotely: the service monitors the operation of pumps and valves, collects information from the fields. Using weather and humidity data, users can adjust the irrigation schedule. In addition, the technology provides inter-machine interaction at a distance of up to 15 km with minimal energy consumption.

The irrigation system of an almond orchard in Garni is controlled by technology created by Revalcon. Previously, water for irrigation of the orchard was a problem; things have become easier and efficiency has increased with the transition to a drip irrigation system and the introduction of a remote irrigation service.

The technology created by Revalcon has already been installed in some orchards in Artsakh and Russia. The founders of the startup are confident that their solution has prospects of worldwide dissemination.

Revalcon is one of the beneficiaries of the Acba Fellowship program of the Acba Federation. The startup, with funding from the Acba Federation, was able to become a member of the Impact Hub ecosystem, which helped it get advice from mentors and experts from various fields.

Thanks to Acba Federation we were able to scale up our business and spread it all over Armenia," said Sergey Barkhudaryan, co-founder and director of Revalcon startup.
