YEREVAN, December 28. /ARKA/. “Bank VTB (Armenia)” and UNISTREAM start cooperation in the sphere of implementation of money transfer by money transfer system UNISTREAM, press-service of the Bank informs.

“The system “Unistream” became the tenth system of international money transfers, which can use the clients of the Bank. >From this collaboration, we expect implementation of service opportunities to a large number of clients at a high level and at reasonable prices. We are confident that every client can select a convenient way of transfer and receive money from the broad range of money transfer systems”, said Director of Retail Business development Department of the Bank Artak Khachatryan.

According to the press-release, by the end of January 2012 money transfer system UNISTREAM will be introduced in all the regions of Armenia due to broad branch network of the Bank VTB (Armenia), and the population will have opportunity to send and receive quick money transfers by low tariffs in any of 68 branches and head office of the Bank VTB (Armenia) in Russian rubles, USD and euro.

“Armenia is one of the most perspective directions of money transfers among CIS countries where the system actively develops all the key directions of its activity”, said President of UNISTREAM Suren Hayriyan.

"Cooperation with such a huge financial institute as Bank VTB (Armenia) is an important step in the expansion of our network in the country. Moreover, that the Bank is a part of VTB group having principle positions by sizes in the whole market. That is why cooperation with this financial institute is a serious incentive for moving forward”, he said.

Hayriyan said also that in CIS countries this system operates in over 15 000 service points and the number of partner-banks of UNISTREAM (without Russian financial institutes) exceeds 130.

Money transfer system UNISTREAM is one of the leading systems in the market of international money transfer systems of CIS and Georgia. Having turnover of 4 billion USD, the system has implemented in 2010 over 6 million transfers. Its flagship projects are development of unaddressed option, promotion of unified card, opening of specialized centers of money transfers, integration in terminal network and increase of international activity.
