YEREVAN, October 3. /ARKA/. In September 2013, Armenia’s National Mortgage Company refinanced 135 mortgage loans totaling AMD 1.115 billion, the company’s press office told ARKA News Agency on Thursday.

As a whole, by late September the company has 3,946 extended loans totaling AMD 30.7 billion, of which 2,504 loans worth AMD 23.7 billion have been extended in Yerevan, and 1,442 loans worth AMD 7 billion in provinces.

Some 2,500 loans totaling AMD 24.3 billion have been extended for housing and 1,399 worth AMD 6.4 billion for repairs.

The National Mortgage Company was registered and licensed by the Central Bank of Armenia on June 16, 2009. The company’s sole shareholder is the central bank. ($1 – 405.33). ---0----
