Armenian Central Bank head to attend European Banking Congress in Frankfurt

YEREVAN, November 22. /ARKA/. Arthur Javadyan, chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia, will attend European Banking Congress in Frankfurt on November 22 and 23, the regulator’s press office reported today.

Andranik Grigoryan, chief of the central bank’s division in charge of financial stability and development, and Ashot Osipyan, head of the Union of Banks of Armenia, are among members of the Armenian delegation headed by Javadyan.

President of the European Central Bank Mario Draghi, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble and Bundesbank President Jens Weidmann are set to speak at the congress.

Javadyan will meet in Frankfurt with his foreign counterparts and heads of other financial institutions. -0---
