    Armenian banks sell $96.7 million September 26-30 at local foreign currency market

    Armenian commercial banks sold a total of $86.7 million at the local foreign currency market September 26-30 at the average exchange rate of 370.67 drams per one US Dollar, the Central Bank of Armenia said to ARKA.

    Armenia’s monetary base in August increased by 52.8 billion drams or 9.9% from the previous month to about 583.4 billion drams, the National Statistical Service told ARKA, citing preliminary figures released by the Central Bank of Armenia.
